A 10-day conference for International Youth Movement in churches is underway in Mondra-Slovakia. The national chairperson, Mrs Sara Ofori and the assistant national organiser, Ms Elizabeth Mademe of Catholic Youth Organisation (CYO) are the delegates representing Ghana. About 35 coutries across the glob are participating in this year's conference to delibrate on the theme "Children's Right".The conference will evaluate events and activities of the movement in the past three years and also elect new leaders at Regional and Intercontinental levels for the next three years ahead.
Ms Elizabeth Mademe, One of Ghana's delegates is the only candidate from Africa contestanting as president of the Federation of Catholic Pariochial Youth Movement( FIMCAP) for the African Region.
Apart from deliberations, participants will also share and learn from each others country for global integration on religion and culture
