The founders of WhatsApp are $19 billion rich by selling the App to facebook.
what is fascinating about this deal is the guys behind the App. The life stories of these guys are very inspiring. Brian Acton, was rejected by Facebook and Twitter when he applied for job in 2009. His co-founder Jan Koum, a poor U.S Immigrant from Ukraine. He virtually lived in the streets Mountain View and survived on foods tamps.
There is nothing determination can not achieve and it pays to press on towards ones goal even in the face of disappontments and rejection.
WhatsApp might not be that much popular here in America like the way Ghanaians have embraced it. It is widely used by most Ghanaians especially among the youth. The App enables free texting, fast videos and audiuos as well as pictures for the first year then charges $1 for a subscription.
It has over 450 million users.
